On October 3, 2015 City Police responded to a shoplifting call at a local grocery store. Police met with store security who had a male accused in custody. Â It is alleged that food items were concealed in a back pack. The accused then went to the check out and paid for a separate item making no attempt to pay for the other items. Â The accused was arrested by security. Police continued the arrest and the accused Peter Joseph Zayet, age 56 was charged with theft under $5000.00. Â The accused is scheduled to appear in court on November 2, 2015 at 9:00 am.
