Driver fails roadside test

On the evening of October 10, 2015 35yr old Michael Tremblay of Second Line West was arrested and charged with driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood (over .80). It is alleged that officers were conducting RIDE checks on East Street near Albert Street when they had occassion to stop and check a vehicle being drivien by Tremblay. The ensuing investigation resulted in Tremblay failing a roadside screening test. He will be appearing in court November 16th, 2015,

On October 10th City Police officers attended to an east end residence regarding a domestic related complaint. Their investigation led them to arrest a 28 year old male on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear court in August. The male was also found to be breaching 3 conditions of his Recognizance which prohibited him from drinking, being at the victim’s residence and residing at a specific address which he was not doing. He will be appearing in WASH Court on October 11th.

A 24 year old male was arrested by City Police overnight and charged with 3 domestic related offences. It is alleged the accused confined his girlfriend to her residence not allowing her to leave at which time he assaulted her and also smashed a bowl belonging to the victim. The male was charged with assault, forcible confinement and mischief and will be appearing in WASH Court on October 11th.
