The visiting Senior White Pines came within 3 points late in the game against St. Mary’s on Tuesday.

St. Mary’s led the by the end of the 2nd quarter by only 5 points and kept the pressure up in the 3rd quarter out shooting the Wolverines by 3.

White Pines made a valiant effort in the 4th quarter picking one more point than St. Mary’s but fell short by a final score of 26 for St. Mary’s and 20 for White Pines.

In the Junior game, even with a very short bench, the Wolverines managed to get points against a very strong Knights team. White Pines was held to only 2 points in the first half but managed to out score St. Mary’s in the 3rd quarter by one point.

The Knights pulled off the win with a score of 41 to 10.

In other action the Korah Colts hosted Superior Heights SteelHawks. The Juniors had Leah Ritallo with 14 points in their 53 to 17 win over the Steelhawks. Brianna Bruni led the way for Superior Heights with 6 points.

The Seniors had Korah defeat Superior Heights by a score of 64 to 44. Carina Hargis had 23 points for Korah while Maggie Kirk scored 19 for Superior Heights.
