Mid-Week Trouble could get spooky around here

We all know at this time of year we can go from warm and sunny to cold and windy with anything from rain to snow to fall from the sky. This week is no exception thanks to two weather systems combining by mid-week.

As the two systems come into play starting Tuesday afternoon, temperatures are expected to climb to the low to mid-teens as a push of warmer air comes from the Gulf of Mexico. Remnants of the little hurricane known as Patricia will merge with a small Alberta clipper bringing with lots of rain for Wednesday and deepening low pressure that could result in damaging winds. Environment Canada will likely issue a warning about this if the winds reach warning criteria – it’s your typical spooky October weather. Showers and windy conditions are expected to last through Thursday before high pressure kicks in , clearing away the clouds for Halloween day. You can expect temperatures to plunge come Sunday morning.
