Power Outage

PUC inform us that power has been restored to most homes in the affected area. The power remains off in the Lorna Drive area. Still no cause determined.


Sault Ste. Marie PUC report an unplanned power outage for parts of the east end of the city. About 1208 homes lost power at 10:23am.

PUC crews are currently investigating the cause.

The areas affected include: Queen St E to Chambers Ave, Dacey Rd to Varsity.
Line crews are investigating the cause.
