The Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board is pleased to invite the community to come see Sault Ste. Marie’s newest secondary school.
Guided tours of the new St. Mary’s College will be held this Thursday, October 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“We are very proud of our beautiful new school and want the many people who have been asking to get a closer look at the building to have the opportunity to see what we have to offer,” said St. Mary’s College Principal, Cindy Sawyer.
Tours will commence in the main entrance of the school and will include visits to the spectacular Commons area, triple gymnasium, cultural room, dance studio, technology labs, and other notable learning areas within the school.
“We have already been able to show the school to the majority of our parents but some may not have been able to see the entire school. This evening allows those parents, and the general public, to see this state-of-the-art facility,” said Sawyer.
Last Friday, October 23, Bishop Jean-Louis Plouffe blessed the new school, its students, and staff. A formal grand opening of the new St. Mary’s College follows this Friday, October 30th.
