Move over Thanksgiving, step aside Halloween, it’s time to talk about the big guy in the red suit – Santa Claus is coming to Sault Ste. Marie!
He knows if you’ve been good or bad, and he definitely knows how to make an entrance. Help thousands of Saultites welcome Mr. Claus as he takes part in the Rotary Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 21st at 6pm. The parade will begin at Pim Street, go down Queen Street East, and end at Gore Street.
Parade marshal, David K. Marshall, has had a few new staff to assist him: “the North Pole sent down some of their best elves to help us build a special surprise for the kids.” Sources close to Mrs. Claus confirmed that Santa will be getting a new float!
If you are interested in putting together a float or walking entry, make sure you get your applications in to the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie by November 18th, or you may just find yourself on the naughty list!
