Bus unloads stuff and more Christmas Cheer news

For the 30th consecutive year, City of Sault Ste. Marie employees have organized a Christmas Cheer depot in support of the annual Christmas Cheer Campaign.

20151130_090213_resizedDonations of new and like-new toys, new mitts, scarves and hats, and gifts of non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the Civic Centre, 99 Foster Drive, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., until Friday, December 4.

A Christmas Cheer donation jar will also be available in the Civic Centre main lobby.
Residents are encouraged to contribute to the annual campaign – your support is appreciated.

20151130_090831_resizedMeanwhile, over at the former Alexander Henry high school, the Christmas Cheer depot, the stuff-a-bus was unloading after another successful campaign.

We are thrilled to have had a 16 year partnership with Sault Transit on Stuff a Bus and we look forward to another success next year.”said Scott Sexsmith, manager of Rogers Radio in the Sault.

Toystock, that was held Sunday along with the stuff-a-bus donations collected another $3,000 toward Christmas Cheer campaign.
