It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father, at his home on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the age of 85.
Loving and devoted husband of Anne for 62 years. Together they shared an amazing and fulfilled lifetime of experiences. Proud and cherished father of Richard (Laurie), Michael (Sue), Robert (Anne), and Andrea Linton (Tony). Revered Nonno of Alexandra, Bronson, Shea, Jillian, Christopher, Mackenzie and Madison. Son of the late Anthony and Georgina. Dear brother of the late Ronald (Evalee), Rita Luxton (late Jack), and Betty-Lou Caputo. Fondly remembered as a very special uncle by his many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his lifelong friends.
Ralph was a generous and wise man who would do anything to support his family and friends. His words of encouragement and wisdom helped many throughout challenging times.
He especially loved his “Happy Place” at Batchewana which became the “eternal gathering place” and home to a lifetime of stories and laughter. It will remain one of his lasting family legacies. Who can forget Ralph dressed in his favourite camp costume barking orders or simply hanging out with his grandkids – a picture forever etched in our memories.
Friends are invited to call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday November 17, 2015 from 10am to 1pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Jerome’s Catholic Church at 2pm. Rev. Pat Woods officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Sault Area Hospital Renal Dialysis unit.
