Police Blotter for Thursday Evening


28 year old Tyler Seaton of Blutcher St. was arrested by City Police patrol officers early this morning and charged with robbery. It is alleged that back in August of 2014, the accused robbed a male of an undisclosed amount of money by hitting him over the head with a blunt object and putting a knife to his ribs. He will be appearing in WASH Court later today.

At 2:10 A.M. on November 21, 2015 City Police arrested 48 year old Kai Kivi of Sudbury On.  City Police were called to a Hotel on Trunk rd. regarding an intoxicated male.  Kivi was found to be on a probation order with conditions that he not consume alcohol.  He was charged with one count of Breach of Probation and will be making an appearance in court on December 21, 2015

On November 20, 2015 at 10:00 P.M. the O.P.P. had occasion to check two young offenders in a vehicle on Trout Lake rd. north of the City that had been involved in a single motor vehicle accident.  The vehicle was discovered to be stolen from a business on Great Northern rd.  City Police were contacted and it was determined that the business in question was broken into and two other vehicles had been stolen and abandoned.  Both young offenders were arrested and charged with numerous property related offences.  The young persons, who cannot be named, will be appearing in Youth Court on December 22, 2015.
