Robbed at knifepoint


On the 4th of November around 9:30 pm a male was walking in the downtown area of Cathcart Street and Gloucester Street when he was approached by three males.

Two males suspects grabbed the victim while the third male pointed a knife at the victim and demanded his wallet and phone. The victim complied with the demands of the three accused. The victim was not physically harmed. The suspects were last seen headed towards Manilla Terrace.

The three suspects all had dark balaclavas covering their faces. They were wearing dark pants and hoodies and are believed to be in their 20’s.


Sometime overnight between the 3rd and 4th of November a construction trailer at Cathcart Street and Huron Street was broken into. Two laptops, a printer and two batteries for a GPS were stolen.


Sometime overnight between the 3rd and 4th of November a residence on John Street was broken into. A television was taken.


  1. It’s time for Guardian angels to patrol these areas on a nightly basis, it seems the cops are spread to thin to take care of the ever increasing violent crimes in this city.
    Also, the Gore street police office should be open when all this crime is going on instead of keeping bankers hours, ridiculous from the get-go.
