Sault College Hosts the 4th Annual Ten Thousand Villages

This season get your Holiday shopping done early by giving a gift that gives twice. On November 6th and 7th, Sault College will host the fourth annual Ten Thousand Villages fair trade sale in support of the college’s WUSC student refugee program.

Ten Thousand Villages is the oldest and largest Fair Trade organization in North America, selling artisan-crafted personal accessories, home decor and gift items from around the globe. Ten Thousand Villages creates opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to markets through long-term, fair trading relationships.

All proceeds of the sale support artisans partnered with Ten Thousand Villages. In addition, 10% of all proceeds go directly to support the WUSC student refugee program at Sault College.

There is no admission fee to shop at the gift sale and the dates and hours for the sale are as follows:

Friday, November 6th from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 7th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
