The Stuff-a-bus campaign is winding down for another year and there seems to be a few cubic feet of space left!
The bus was parked all day at Rogers radio Saturday morning on Great Northern Road and the donations continue to pike in, like these two ladies this morning.
Lynne Holmberg and Carole Smith. A halloween party hosted by them at the Legion in October helped raise $1,500, the ladies used those funds to buy toys for the stuff-a-bus and delivered them today.
The campaign, a partnership of Rogers radio and Sault Transit rely on staff and volunteers to keep this worthwhile event going each year. Dale Ingram A Sault transit driver has helped with the bus since it started 16 years ago.
The bus will move to the Northern Grand Gardens Sunday for the annual Toy Stock and then make it’s delivery to the Christmas Cheer depot at the former Alexander Henry High School on Monday.
