Sault College is pleased to announce the opening of its fine dining teaching restaurant, Willow, on November 4, 2015 for the 2015/2016 academic school year. Willow Teaching Restaurant welcomes patrons to an elegant dining atmosphere and features a new, progressive and inspired menu. Willow is located at Sault College, on the corner of Willow and Northern Avenue.
“We are thrilled to be offering the Sault Ste. Marie community the opportunity once again this year to experience Sault College students’ exceptional culinary skills,” notes Angelique Lemay, Dean of Community Services, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Curriculum and Faculty Enrichment at the College. “Working alongside Sault College faculty Chef Sarah Birkenhauer, Chef Jennifer Healey, Hospitality Coordinator and Faculty Deron Tett and Willow Restaurant Manager Annelise Wolfe, students will have the opportunity to perfect their culinary and fine dining hospitality skills in an advanced learning restaurant environment.”
Willow’s cuisine reflects a refined contemporary and fusion cuisine palate, offered alongside featured wines, beer and spirits. Willow will be open to the public on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings for dinner beginning November 4. Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Reservations begin at 5:30 pm.
