An Elegant Affair to help Hospice for Children

A great musical Christmas event is planned for December 12th at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre.

An Elegant Affair will feature music from Billy Joel and Elton John The Legacy performed by  Michael Sicoly Mick Dalla-Vee. The money raised will go directly to an hospice for children in Sault Ste. Marie.

“Until now, there has not been a Hospice of any kind, in Sault Ste. Marie, or Northern Ontario, for Children who need palliative care. Last August, Chiara Scornalencki, 6 yrs. old, died In a Hospice, in Ottawa, with her Mom, Dad and Brother by her side, away from her home, from Sault Ste. Marie. This will change now.” Valerie Pluss, event producer said.

“As of May 2015, Arch Hospice, in the Sault, has opened their doors for children. Our aim is to collect a large amount of Donations, to provide a comfortable environment that provides children and their families the same compassionate palliative care currently available for adults during their stay at Arch Hospice. These funds will go directly into an account that will be used strictly for the Child and their needs during this very trying time.”
