When people and businesses pull together for a good cause, only good things can happen, and that’s what happened at the Hair Emporium Tuesday.
Armed with their scissors and hair dryers, the small staff gave free haircuts all day long to customers who made a donation of canned goods, non perishable food items or toys for Christmas Cheer.
The staff was kept busy most of the morning and customers were treated to a Christmas bake table courtesy the workers at Country Style who baked up the home made goodies.
It’s the first time for The Hair Emporium to hold such an event, “We wanted to do something and this idea was presented to us” said owner Casey Barry who took over the business in October. The staff jumped at the opportunity to help those during Christmas time.
By the way in January, they will be adding another staff member , Shari Dewer as an advanced Aestheticism.
The Hair Emporium is located at 151 Trunk Road. Open until 6pm.
