With heavy hearts the family of John Douville announce his passing on Thursday, December 24th, 2015.
We are truly blessed to have had him as the anchor and role model of our family.
In his 86th year while at the Sault Area Hospital, John went to be with the Lord.
Beloved husband of the late Eila Douville for 55 years. Loving and cherished father to his four children; Debbie (Mark), David (Francie), Joey and Diane. Treasured grandfather to his seven grandchildren who adored him dearly, Gerrit (Carla), Ryan (Karly), Jonathon (Alycia), Jordan, Jamison, Stephane and Karina. Newly great grandfather to Jase and Ayla. Dear son of the late Gabriel and Edith Douville. Loving brother to Valeda (late Ray), Joyce (late Jack), Nora (late Tauno), Joe (Helen), Jackie (late Ron) and Patricia (Wayne). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Henry Gaines, Carl Falls and Bob Garson.
John was an amazing man, strong in his Christian faith and passionate about helping his friends and community of Heyden. His friendly, helpful spirit loved to be on all volunteer committees north of the Sault.
