The Sault Ste. Marie Airport celebrated serving 200,000 passengers at the airport on Wednesday. Three trips for two as well as other prizes were given out to people that attended the celebration.
Terry Bos, CEO/President, Sault Ste. Marie Airport Development Corporation stated that there is a lot of improvements going on to make the passengers’ flights more pleasurable, as well as a $2,000,000 expansion that will be ready by March. There will also be a new airline counter added.
The winner from Air Canada for two, anywhere in North America was Louis Turco, he was the 200,000 passenger on Nov. 29th. He wasn’t available to be at the celebration , his wife was more than happy to accept the prize. There were also two other flights for 2 given out by Bearskin and Porter airlines. The winners were Ms. Miller and Ms. Graham.
