On December 27, 2015, Pam lost her battle with cancer. With her Sister JoAnne by her side she passed away peacefully at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice.

She was a strong woman who kept fighting until the end and she had so much love around her the whole time. Pam was an avid reader who often got lost in the books she read. She will be remembered by many for the stories she would tell and the lessons she taught during her time with the Girl Guides of Canada. Her kind soul and big heart will live on forever.

Towards the end of her journey she was surrounded by many friends and family that came to see her. She leaves behind her son, Carl Weir and grandson Lee who she loved dearly. Pam is a daughter to the late Frank and Irene Weir and sister to Joanne, Linda (Conley), Suzy (Gary), Edna (Lorne), as well as, Harvey (Pauline), Charles (Wendy), and Frank (Linda). She was a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her niece Raya Payment (Craig) and their 2 kids Brodie and Bella and nephew Frank St Jules and his daughters Ella and Chassie, she was more like a second mom and grandma. Pam is loved by many and we hold on tight to our memories and share them with each other. She has left a part of herself with everyone she ever had contact with and because of that, she will live on forever.

Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm.
