Have your résumés ready for the Sault College and Employment Solutions annual Job and Career Fair happening on Wednesday February 3rd from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This large annual career event will be held in the Sault College Health and Wellness Centre and includes over 60 employers from a variety of employment sectors including: Trades, Government, Public Service, Financial, Healthcare, Social Services, Natural Environment and Retail. Employers will be on site to meet with students, alumni and members of the community who are seeking employment or are exploring new career options.
Community members, students and graduates will have a variety of positions to apply to during the event including: full-time, part-time, permanent and student positions. Every employer attending the event will have jobs available either immediately or in the near future. All attendees should come prepared to hand-out resumes and to discuss their experiences and qualifications.
“The Job and Career Fair is a wonderful opportunity for our students, graduates and community members to network with employers and gather information about various job opportunities locally, provincially and nationally,” says Nicole LaCroix, Student Employment Officer of the Sault College Student Job Centre.
Sault College’s Employment Solutions staff, funded by Employment Ontario, will also be available during the event to provide information on all the employment services and programs job seekers can access. The general public can access these employment services either during the Job and Career Fair or by visiting Employment Solutions in the Station Tower. These services are also available to students and can be accessed at any time during regular business hours at the Sault College Student Job Centre.
This event is sponsored by the Sault College Student Job Centre and Employment Solutions. The event is open to the general public as well as all Sault College students and alumni, and is free to enter. Parking is available for $3 in the visitor lot off the Willow Street entrance or metered parking off of Northern Avenue or in the Willow Street lot.
