Coming off a loss to the Saginaw Spirit, the Greyhounds looked for a rebound and found it with a win over the Kitchener Rangers.
Gabe Guertler would put the the Hounds up by one on the power play but Connor Bunnaman would tie it up for Kitchener less than six minutes later.
Nick Magyar would put the Rangers in front at the 3:28 mark of the second period to lead the Hounds 2 to 1. With goals by Zachary Senyshyn and Boris Katchouk the Greyhounds would close the frame leading 3 to 2.
While shorthanded Hayden Verbeek would get his 10th goal of the season and then Jack Kopacka would net a little insurance to the Greyhounds’ lead while on the power play.
David Miller would put the Rangers within two at 17:38, but Katchouk would get an empty net goal to give the Greyhounds a 6 to 3 final.
Boris Katchouk still remains fourth in the Rookie Point Standings but is now only two points behind Max Jones from the London Knights.
