Orazietti announces pre-budget consultations in the Sault


Sault Ste. Marie – Members of the Ontario’s Legislature’s Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will be in Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday, January 21st, to conduct pre-budget consultations, announced David Orazietti MPP

“I am pleased that Sault Ste. Marie is one of the cities that has been chosen to host pre-budget consultation hearings to prepare for the 2016 Ontario budget,” said Orazietti. “These hearings are a great opportunity for local citizens and organizations to present their social, economic and financial concerns to a committee of MPP’s that will be making recommendations to the Legislative Assembly and Minister of Finance.”

The hearings will also be held in Hamilton, Windsor, Thunder Bay and Ottawa from January 18th to the 22nd.

Individuals and organizations that wish to make comments may send a written submission to the Committee Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 2, 2016.
