According to Walk To End Alzheimers, there are 600 communities nationwide that hold annual walks to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Sault Ste. Marie is one of those communities and on Sunday held its 18th annual walk.
Terry Capparossi stated that they are supplying services to approximately 2700 families that have been affected by this dreaded disease. They also donate money for research. They hope to raise in excess of $25,000, last year’s total.
