(November 24, 1933 – January 12, 2016) Morris Everett Whitehead passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on January 12, 2016 in his 83rd year.
Much loved husband of Goldie ( Whitfield ) for 60 years. Predeceased by his parents Amos and Loretta (Retta), brothers Elmer (Mabel), Earl (Ethel), Kenneth (Jean) and father and mother-in-law Mervyn and Jean Whitfield. Loving and caring Dad of Debbie of Sault Ste. Marie, Don (Penny) of Bracebridge, James (Beth) of Beamsville and Lori MacFarlane (James) of Thessalon. He will be sadly missed and treasured by 10 grandchildren, Brandon (Abbie), Amanda Lock (Joel), Shanna McBay (Brian), Ryan (Cassie), Sarah, Shaun (Samantha), Christopher, Tyson MacFarlane (Rochelle), Denver MacFarlane (Jamie Lynn), Ben MacFarlane (Talia) and 11 great grandchildren, Liv, Cam, Elie, Rylan, Isaac, Carter, Haley, Lola, Annie, David and Ezra. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-laws.
Morris spent his career of 34 years working for the MTO. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
Friends may call at the Thessalon Church of Christ, Albert Street on Friday January 15, 2016 from 6 to 9pm. Funeral service in the Church building on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 1 o’clock with Randy Morritt officiating. Spring interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery.
