The Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore members were up and at em’ early on Saturday, Feb. 6th, 2016, for their annual Bon Soo Breakfast. Every year, this local service club hosts the Bon Soo Pancake & Sausage breakfast on the first weekend of Bon Soo at The Moose Lodge #535, on Trunk Road.
There was a steady flow of Sault & area foodies of all ages, who lined up for skillfully flipped pancakes, and perfectly cooked sausages. Mr. Bon Soo seemed to enjoy the all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast too!
The Aktion Club, which is part of Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore is hosting a bake table, which is stocked with a wide variety of goodies. That’s for sure.
Pancakes will be flipping and sausages will be sizzling, again on Sunday Feb.7th, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to feast on all-you-can-eat fluffy pancakes with real St. Josephs’ Island maple syrup, courtesy of Mountain Maple Products, St. Joseph’s Island, Ontario. Coffee/ tea / hot chocolate/ juice are part of the breakfast too.
The Bon Soo Breakfast does not require a Bon Soo Button for entry.
• $9.00 for Adults,
• $7.00 for Seniors and
• $5.00 for children (4 years of age and under are free.)
The hours are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the always accommodating and easily accessible Moose Lodge & Family Centre, 543 Trunk Road
Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore’s annual Bon Soo Trivia Night is fast approaching. Thursday, Feb. 11th, 2016 will have teams coming together at The Marconi Club to have fun and test their knowledge of trivia. There will, of course, be moments of sheer brilliance. It’s all in the spirit of convivial competition in support of the projects that Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore undertakes each year.
Here is a story about the 2015 Bon Soo Trivia Night.
Thank you Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore & Aktion Club. The Annual Bon Soo Breakfast is an outstanding community endeavour.
