Broken water main leaves homes without water

At approximately 7:15AM on February 18, 2016, 4 customers in Sault Ste. Marie had their water services interrupted, as a result of a broken water main. PUC repair crews have been dispatched and have started repairs.

During the repair process traffic flow may be restricted in the affected areas listed below. This traffic restriction is necessary to ensure the safety of repair crews as well as the travelling public.

4 customers in the  Great Northern Road between McNabb Street and Stevens Street are affected.

  1. But the First Nation community without drinking water for twenty years will continue to go without cause they’re only Indians!! Shame on Canada AGAIN!! But four customers will be back online in 24 hours. I hope I don’t hear one complaint for this slight inconvenience!!

  2. They are damn lucky that we haven’t had a brutal cold winter and hundreds of their neglected ancient water mains haven’t broken.
