Brad Jacobs didn’t have much time to celebrate his win over Sudbury for the Northern Ontario Curling title Sunday in North Bay. Jacobs was back in the Sault Monday morning for the ribbon cutting ceremonies of the re-branding and naming rights for the former Soo Curler’s Club, plus hosting a family day funspiel , one of the last Bon Soo Events.
Team Jacobs is now off to the Brier in Ottawa to take the title for a second time. Jacobs however, says the Northern Ontario title has more pressure than the Brier, “You just want to win and get tot he Brier” Jacobs said.
SaultOnline.com caught up with the Olympic gold and 2013 Brier champ to talk about their most recent win and his plans for the Tim Hortons Brier coming up in early March.
