Pedestrian hit on Great Northern Road

At 7:44 P.M. on February 20, 2016 city police attended a car-pedestrian collision on Great Northern rd. near the Cambrian mall.

The investigation revealed that the pedestrian was crossing westbound against a red light and was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The pedestrian received non-life threatening injuries. The female pedestrian was charged under the city bylaw with Pedestrian fail to yield.

  1. About time someone got charged for that kind of shit.. I am over 70 and a full-time pedestrian and get so ticked with people that just say “screw it” and walk against the lights, see it all the time.. No one is in so much of a hurry that they can’t wait a minute or less for the walk light…..
