Tianna Legacy’s follow up song to her hit single, “Who We Are” is sure to have the same impact if not more bringing awareness to anti-bullying.
The grade 7 Holy Family Catholic School student debuted her new single, “Standing Alone” to a packed gymnasium Wednesday to mark Pink Shirt Day. A national day of awareness on bullying and anti-bullying campaigns.
“It took me about two months to write” Legacy told SaultOnline.com “Recording was very fun” Legacy recorded the song with the help from Case’s Music.
The upbeat song carries a strong message about bullying . “it about believing in following your dreams and doing what you need to get there” Legacy said.
Legacy has certainly built a fan base for her work with celebrity status at her school and across Canada, though you wouldn’t know it.
The catchy tune by the talented 13 year old is the second song from Legacy surrounding the important issue of anti-bullying. Last year she wrote and performed, “Who We Are” that gained national attention from Family Channel and OWL Magazine.
Legacy talked to SaultOnline.com about her music after her performance Wednesday.
