Chum will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Chum was born in Petawawa on November 7, 1928. His family moved to Sudbury and then in the 1940’s moved to Sault Ste. Marie. He started working at the age of 14, to help his family out. He became extremely skilled as a welder and spent over 30 years with A.B. McLean.

Chum was a lifetime member of the Elks of Canada. He also had an artistic side to his welding and came up with many different accessories for the home and cottage. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed his travels across the river to golf with friends and family.

In respecting Chum’s wishes cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held.

Memorial contributions to TAAG, SAH Cancer Care Fund or Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
