Lithuanians caught shoplifting at Walmart


24-year old Mindaugas KULISAUSKAS and 39-year old Leonid BALIUKEVIC both of Lithuania have been charged with one count each of theft under $5,000 and one count of possession of property obtained by crime.  Officers from Investigation Services have been assigned to this investigation. The two accused have been remanded in custody pending the ongoing investigation.

On March 2nd, 2 males were observed by Walmart security officers allegedly conceal several packages of men’s razor blades and leave the store without paying. Security officers approached the males who in turn fled the area but were eventually apprehended. Upon Police arrival it was learned these males were from Lithuania and also in possession of a rental car from Toronto. As a result, the 2 males have been charged with theft and possession of stolen property under $5000. The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending at the time of this report. The 2 accused will be appearing in Bail Court on March 3rd.
