Sault man calls in bomb threats to Air Canada


On March 14, 2016 officers from the Criminal Investigations Unit along with Patrol arrested 18 year old Brandon Crack of 663 Queen Street East. It is alleged that on March 13 at 9:30pm the accused made phone calls to Air Canada advising that there was a bomb on a flight from Toronto to Sault Ste. Marie and to City Transit advising that there was a bomb on a City Bus.

Investigation was able to identify the accused and he has been charged with two counts of public mischief, two counts of mischief interfering with lawful enjoyment and endangering an aircraft by providing false information.

The accused will appear in bail court on March 14th. These matters continue to be under investigation by Detectives.
