Big Brothers Big Sisters is excited to partner with the Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie to celebrate their 90 years of services in the community; enjoy some fabulous pancakes and local maple syrup; educate the community on program participation and volunteerism; while supporting the programs Big Brothers Big Sisters offers the youth of Sault Ste. Marie.

As a not for profit organization serving youth in our community Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie is committed to the healthy development of children and youth through valuable mentoring programs vital in fostering their full potential. The organization’s vision of a community with enriched and happy children where every child who needs a mentor has a mentor, is only possible with the support of organizations like the Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie and you, community members.

Currently, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sault Ste. Marie has 75 Littles participating in a diverse number of programs, but 24 of these 75 kids are waiting to be matched with a Big (adult mentor). There is great need locally for positive adult role models and with a “little” time commitment there can be “big” impact on the life of a child.
