City Police would like to advise the public that Black Road, just east of Second Line will be partially closed and fully closed at times due to the removal of a transport truck that was involved in a motor vehicle collision on the 20th April 2016. More information will be released as it becomes available.

City Police attended on Black Road, south of Second Line E. in regard to a collision between a passenger vehicle and a transport truck. The female driver of the vehicle was transported to Sault Area Hospital with major injuries and a female passenger was treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the transport was not injured.
The collision resulted in Black Road being closed between Second Line E. and McNabb St. for over six hours. The roadway was reopened at 10:15 p.m. The investigation is ongoing at this time. City Police would like to advise the public that Black Road will be closed tomorrow at a time yet to be determined to allow for removal of the transport truck from the ditch.

They are removing the truck out of the ditch today that’s why and have to remove whatever was on the truck before they can flip it over. Read it last night.
