Flight from Police

On April 5, 2016 City Police attempted to do a traffic stop in the area of Goetz Street. The vehicle stopped but as police approached the vehicle the driver of the vehicle drove off. Police allege that the driver was identified and the pursuit was ended.

On April 6, 2016 at approximately 11:00 am officers attended in the Brunswick Street area and arrest Jeffery Brent Leclair age 23, for dangerous driving, flight from police and there was an outstanding warrant for breach of probation executed. The accused will appear in bail court on April 7, 2016 at 10:00 am.

Shoplifting
On April 6, 2016 a loss prevention officer at a local grocery store apprehended a shop lifter after she allegedly selected several items and put them in a shopping cart. Other items were concealed in her purse and she left the store without paying for any of the items. The loss prevention officer apprehended the female out side of the store. City Police attended and continued with the arrest charging the accused with theft under $5000.00. The accused is awaiting court appearances for similar charges from past incidents. The accused will appear in bail court on April 7, 2016 at 10:00 am.
