Local restaurants want you to get home safely

Giovanni’s Restaurant, Fratelli’s Kitchen, and the new establishment that is being opened at the former Gigi’s location are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Driverseat Sault Ste. Marie. Driverseat Sault Ste. Marie offers a safe ride home for both you and your vehicle, and is a cost-effective and safe alternative to leaving your vehicle behind or taking a taxi.

Whether you have enjoyed an evening at Giovanni’s, Fratelli’s or the exciting new restaurant, the owners care about your safety and well-being, and their priority is getting you and your vehicle home safely. Together, Driverseat and the three restaurants will cover $10 toward your safe ride home, saving you up to 40% of the cost.

“I was excited to have Serge, Nick, and Tony from Giovanni’s Restaurant, Fratelli’s Kitchen, and now their new hotspot, approach Driverseat Sault Ste. Marie to build awareness of not only enjoying drinks with friends, but how affordable, convenient, and socially acceptable it is to get a Designated Driver with Driverseat,” says Driverseat owner and operator Stephen Findlay. “Drunk driving is 100% preventable, so this partnership between our restaurants and Driverseat just makes complete sense,” says Giovanni’s owner Nick Cavaliere. “It is a convenient, safe, affordable, and socially responsible initiative that we are proud to offer at all three of our locations.”

Renovations at the former Gigi’s location are continuing, toward a May 1st open date. More details about the new concept will be shared with the public the week of April 18th. For more details about the Driverseat initiative, as well as the new location, check out this video:
