Pot, a juicer and car battery


On April 26th at 3pm officers investigated a male in the downtown area of the City. A check found that the male was wanted on warrants for theft under $5000, breach of probation and failing to attend court. 24 year old Thomas Alfred Agawa of no fixed address was arrested for these offences. When searched by arresting officers the accused was also found in possession of 28 grams of marijuana. The accused was further charged with possession of a controlled substance and again breaching his probation order. The accused will appear in bail court on April 27th.

On April 26th at 10:30pm officers arrested 45 year old Jerry Allan Leveille of Grace Street. It is alleged that the accused attended at a downtown store on two occasions removing a Juicer from the store on the first occasion and a Car Battery on the second. The accused did not pay for either of these items. The total value of property taken was $420. The accused has been charged with two counts of theft under $5000 and breaching his probation order. The accused will appear in court on May 30th.
