Peacefully at home on Saturday, April 9, 2016 .
Predeceased by his parents, Charles Henry and Alma Marie Speer. Survived by his wife of sixty years, Patricia Jean Craig and his children: Jeffrey, Christina, Brian and his wife Judy, and Erica. Also survived by his grandchildren Nicholas and Joan Marie.
Henry was a graduate of the McGill University School of Engineering. After years in the steel industry in the Sault and Regina, he turned to teaching physics and chemistry with the Algoma District School Board. Over 25 years he taught at Blind River High School, Sir James Dunn, Korah, Sault Collegiate and Bawating C&VS.
Henry was also a graduate of Thorneloe University Theological College. As Diocesan Lay Reader Henry took services at Holy Trinity, Heyden, Searchmont and Goulais and Tender Care Nursing Home.
Family, friends and former students may call at Holy Trinity Church (352 Northern Avenue East) on Friday, April 15, 2016 from10:00 a.m. until the time of the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon reception at Holy Trinity Church. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
