Johnnie Tibbles, President of the Sault Blues Society would like to see a tremendous turn-out at the Water Tower Inn Saturday, April 16th, 2016. ‘Ty One On’, a fundraiser for local musician Tyrone Souliere is being held in Casey’s Pub, and should prove to be an evening of outstanding music.
“Many local friends and fellow musicians will be donating their time and expertise starting at 9pm at the Water Tower Inn.”
“Ty is a local & well know bassist, that has played with numerous local bands including ‘5ive Below Zero’ and ‘MOJO’. Many of these performances were volunteered for, fundraising events, such as ‘Blues for Food’, which Ty participated in on Dec. 19th 2015. Tyrone has recently been diagnosed with cancer in the brain and lung. He has undergone brain surgery in Sudbury last month and has just started radiation.” Tyrone is also known for his activism in First Nation issues, and is from Garden River, Ontario.
“The Water Tower Inn has very graciously donated a door prize of a one night stay in a signature room with a $50.00 dinner coupon for Casey’s.”
The Sault Blues Society is donating two 2016 SBS memberships. “Door prize draws will take place about 11pm just after the second set.” said Tibbles.
