With spring in the air and wedding season quickly approaching, local wedding professionals had the opportunity to take the stage this evening at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre.
Entry was by donation, with proceeds supporting the museum. Edie Suriano, the museum’s Marketing and Events coordinator, was very pleased with the growth of this year’s event. She highlighted the comfort that guests experience when dealing with multiple exhibitors in one setting.
“There is no pressure,” she said.
With over 85 exhibitors, future brides and grooms were able to plan their big day in a one-stop-shop. Guests were treated to a fashion show as well as multiple prize draws.
“The vendors have been extremely generous,” remarked Joey Giordano, event organizer and owner of Hollywood Limo and Events. “We figured we would stage an event and bring the industry onto a much different scale.”
