A construction worker was sent to Sault Area Hospital with non-life threatening injuries Tuesday morning following a mishap at a construction site in the north central part of the city.
Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, Sault Fire Services and EMS were dispatched to the site shortly after 9am Tuesday.
The construction accident occurred on the 9th floor of a ten storey Finnish Rest Home apartment building currently under construction.
The Ministry of Labour was called in to investigate. As a result of the investigation, details surrounding the accident were not made available.
I guess the suits did not see the sign saying “PPE beyond this point” when they entered the construction site…LOL
Oh dear good to hear not life threatening!
