Gore Street Cafe hosts second festival in under a year

The Gore Street Cafe is on a roll with a new festival which would be the second for them already this year.

The Fortnight Festival it is called and will be running from mid-to-late June.

They are still looking for acts, artists and any help you may have to offer.

So far, #FNF16 boasts a diverse line-up including: from Victoria, esteemed singer-songwriter and trans-rights advocate, Rae Spoon (June 17), from small-town Alberta, this year’s most-requested Canadian act at international jazz festivals, Blue Moon Marquee (June 22), and Montreal kraut-funk quartet Avec le Soleil Sortant de sa Bouche (June 27), as well as local acts Rihkee Strap (June 17), Telephone and Address (June 29) and Aldous (June 16), a pay-what-you-can community dinner (June 17) and much more.

All events will be priced at $15 and under, with all-inclusive festival passes available for just $25! Please find a full line-up of events planned at: Fortnight Festival.

Submissions, ideas and sponsorships are still being accepted for #FNF16. Please get in touch if you’d like more information or to get involved: [email protected] or 705-575-3305
