As first reported by SaultOnline.com Tuesday night, the Sault Ste. Marie soup kitchen is in dire need of food donations. Today, the Sault Ste. Marie public library has stepped up to the plate as a drop off centre. The Library issued this release Wednesday.
The Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, working with the Soup Kitchen Community Centre, is pleased to serve as a drop off centre for our community to donate non-perishable food items to help re-stock the Soup Kitchen’s shelves.
All three library locations will be accepting donated food items from Friday May 20th through to Friday June 3rd.
Please help us help our Soup Kitchen Community Centre to meet the needs of our community.
