Search Continues for Missing Male – Blake McCool


Members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) are continuing their search in the Portelance Lake area for a missing male.

Blake MCCOOL, 63 years of age, was reported missing on December 26, 2015. Family indicated that he may have attended the area of Portelance Lake to go hunting and the East Algoma OPP is presently searching that area.

He is a white male, described as being approximately 5’10” tall with a thin build, weighing approximately 160 pounds. When last seen, he had short grey hair, a grey mustache and grey eyes. He is also known to have a grey beard. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing.
The OPP is continuing to search for the missing male and is asking anyone with information about this incident to immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
