SEDDON, William

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Bill Seddon at the age of 71.

Bill is the son of the late Norman and Eve Seddon and is survived by his wife Joanne, stepfather of Sean (Tammy) of Sault Ste. Marie, Kevin (Hong Sook) of Red Deer, AB and Johanna (Stephan) of Toronto.  Beloved grandchildren; Katie, Sarah, Liam and Lucas.  Dear brother of the late Diane.

Bill was born and raised in Toronto and became an award winning sound engineer working for Thunder Sound in the 60’s and 70’s mixing recordings for some of Canada’s best known bands such as Light House, Bruce Cockburn, Murray McGlaughlin and many more.

He later helped establish the Musical Industry Arts Course at Fanshaw College in London, Ontario and after retirement, moved to Sault Ste. Marie.  Due to his quick wit and warm personality, Bill made friends wherever he went.

At Bill’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.  There will be a gathering of and family, friends at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ARCH.

In his own words we know that our dear Bill was “A man of sterling worth and fixed integrity” and we’ll all miss him forever.
