SFHA Girls Have Goals!

The 2015-16 Season for the Sault Female Hockey Association (SFHA) has come to an end with many positive achievements. This year saw our largest registration numbers to date in our FUNdamentals program (beginner hockey players). Our brand new, very successful Novice House League program brought lots of smiles to our 7 & 8 year old girls. As well, we had two additional Wildcat representative teams this season. Girls hockey is strong in Sault Ste. Marie!

House League playoffs started in mid-March, and it took all 5 games to declare playoff champs for most divisions.  What a great end to a busy season for our House League teams.

Our 7 Wildcat Representative teams and one Storm Development team had many individual successes with a great showing at various tournaments around Ontario. A special congratulations to the PeeWee B team for coming home with the fourth at Provincials!

The 2016-17season promises to be another growing year for our Association.  The SFHA is pleased to announce a new Tyke program (Mini-Cats) for 5&6 year olds. As well, a new Wildcat House League Development Program will be available for all House League players who are interested in additional ice time and skills training, and out of town tournaments.  Our Midget-aged House League players will now be rostered on Midget teams to allow for another Development team.

Online Registration is already open and there are many incentives to register by May 31st, including the chance to win a free House League registration. Visit www.saultfemalehockey.ca.
