Yep, that’s snow alright

Yes, you aren’t seeing things, that’s snow on the roof tops and it’s May 15th.

A cold shot of arctic air started to blow into the area Friday night and lasting through today dropping our temps a good 12 degrees colder than it should be at this time of year. Saturday we reached a high of only 5c, that will also be our high today. Environment Canada reports a trace of snow overnight, about 1cm accumulated on roof tops before the system moved out.  And that’s where the good news starts.

The week ahead sees much improvement with temperatures rebounding to the mid teens this week and into the mid 20’s for the long weekend and plenty of sun.
