City Police Blotter – June 18


On June 17, 2016 City Police responded to a call for assistance in the area of Weldon Avenue. It is alleged that a lone male forced his way into a residence and confronted his ex-girlfriends new boyfriend. It is alleged that the male then threatened to kill the victim and in doing so was in possession of knife. The male was eventually forced out of the residence by some of the people in the residence. Police located the male a short time later and arrested him for break and enter, threatening death and assault with a weapon. Adam Leziert, age 26 is scheduled to appear in court on July 25, 2016 at 9:00 am.

On June 7, 2016 it is alleged that a male entered a residence in the area of Herrick Street and stole electronic equipment and Canadian currency. The male was later identified and on June 17, 2016 and City Police arrested him for break and enter. John Nemeth age 53 is scheduled to appear in court on July 25, 2016 at 9:00 am.
