Theresa Caputo: Fake or The Real Thing

Theresa Caputo, real or fake, I’ll never know. You will see why I had to label this an opinion piece.

The Long Island Medium sounds more like a drink I could use right now.

Ya see…the sold out show had security so tight, media were not allowed anywhere within a hundred yards of her or allowed to stay for even a second of the ‘readings.’

Before coming to the stage an Orwellian voice came out of the front: “the experience will begin in…”

Being with the other two journalists there, possibly the only three men in attendance, there was much skepticism.

“I used to work at a call centre…and I think most of the people from my old job are here.”

Did I mention she works out of Hicksville NY? Coincidence? I foresee in a vision… that it is not.

When her website has a tab called ‘you can’t make this stuff up,’ I don’t know.

And why the reason for not allowing us near the stage…were there spies and hidden microphones?

I wasn’t around during the days of the Nazis but that didn’t seem a far cry from what was going on tonight.

Her website says: “Theresa Caputo will not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of this website or as a result of any reading or appointment with Theresa Caputo, or any persons or events related thereto, and/or any actions or decisions that you may make as a result, including without limitation, actual, incidental and/or consequential damages resulting from any claims resulting from any act or omission, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation or otherwise, including without limitation, personal injury, death, loss of income, stress (emotional or otherwise), errors or omissions, or otherwise.”

If I am so far off why is she being investigated for fraud?

The Daily Mail reports that a famous myth-debunker is investigating her and there are reports that her shows seem to pull at healthy teeth.

I guess I’ll never know. But I am sure to be attacked by gangs of supporters over this.

There’s even a that says IT is the number one authority on her but then says: “Theresa Caputo as a possible soothsaying charlatan rather than a legitimate psychic. We have made contact with a close family friend of the Caputos, who says Theresa Caputo is a fake. We have made their initial claims public here exclusively for the very first time. (It should be noted that while Caputo may be a fake, we find her personally very likeable and we find her show to be highly entertaining and enjoyable.) Our site is very thorough, so please read it carefully and take your time to absorb the information (note: this web site takes no position on whether there is life after death; there may well be, but we are skeptical Caputo has any access to it. There remains no hard evidence she is a fake or a real psychic, we simply remain skeptical.”

  1. Whether she is or not does it really matter. If she brings joy and happiness to others then that’s what should matter. People are to hung up on the negative. All Theresa does is bring happiness and closure to people. Whether skeptics believe it or not you can’t tell people how they feel. And if it makes people feel better about their loss then who cares.

  2. Anyone out there remember Tammy Faye Baker and her hubby Jim? ???? FAKE..FAKE..FAKE. Gullible sure pays off and T.C. is making millions off of those people who so desperately need to believe in the hereafter. Suggestion…Go to Church, volunteer to help others, put your money to better use. Helping someone who needs comforting or a meal will give you a far greater high.
