Those heading into Canada from the U.S. faced delays Tuesday evening on the International Bridge due to a diesel spill closed the northbound lane for a few hours.
The International Bridge Authority reported that a tank on a truck hit a cement barrier in the toll lane around 6:45pm. The truck was holding 100 gallons but it’s not clear how much of the load spilled out.
Crews were quick to clean up the mess and the lane was re-opened later Tuesday evening.
